
SUSPECT DESCRIPTIONS:
A slim build black male, 6’00”tall, between the ages of 25-26, approximately 130 to 140 pounds, wearing a white short sleeve shirt with crosses, black and gray pajama pants, black slippers and black socks and a black ball cap.
WEAPON: A black large frame semi-automatic pistol.
VEHICLE: A light grey four door sedan, possibly a Cadillac, with paper license plates.
SYNOPSIS: On Thursday February 24, 2011 at approximately 4:30pm, a UH student was abducted at gunpoint by an unidentified black male suspect. The complainant was walking southbound on Cullen between Holman and Entrance 14. The complainant stated the vehicle pulled up next to her and the suspect pointed a weapon at her and ordered her in the vehicle. The complainant stated she got into the vehicle and the suspect drove her around for approximately an hour.
The complainant stated the suspect asked her for money. He then snatched her envelope of money from her. The complainant said the suspect then dropped her near Alabama and the Southwest Freeway. The complainant was not injured during the incident.

SAFETY TIPS:
Confrontations can occur without provocation, through no fault of your own. When such confrontations do occur, there are some actions you can take:
- BE ALERT!!
- Be cautious when approached by an unknown person on the street, even the nicest person can have ill intent.
- Remain as calm as possible.Your own initiative and clear thinking are your best defenses.
- The University has more than 70 Emergency call boxes placed strategically around campus, use them! The call goes directly to the UHDPS Dispatch Center.
- Report the incident. Call the police immediately and report what has happened. Call (713) 743-3333 or 911.
- Do not walk alone, if at all possible walk in groups.
- Try to notice details. This can allow you to provide the police with detailed physical and clothing descriptions of the person(s) involved.
- If a vehicle is involved, try to note the vehicle's license plate number or the vehicle's manufacturer, model and color or any other identifying features.
