Jeffery Dean Botley

Jeffery Dean Botley is a 39 year old black male. He has been arrested by the University of Houston Department of Public Safety more than twenty times. He is barred from campus and can be charged with criminal trespass any time he is on campus.  
Jeffrey Dean Botley has been convicted of numerous thefts from campus. His normal method of operation is to wander the hallways checking into  offices left unsecured for items he can steal. He has been known to steal books, purses, and wallets.
The University of Houston Department of Public Safety received notice January 29, 2008 that Botley was  released from the Harris County Jail  where he was serving a 110 day sentence for Theft and Criminal Trespass at the University of Houston.
The University of Houston Department of Public Safety considers it highly probable that Botley will likely return to campus in the near future to commit more thefts.
The campus community is requested to be alert to Jeffery Dean Botley's presence on campus. If you believe you have seen him on campus contact the University of Houston Department of Public Safety immediately at 713-743-3333. Botley is not known to be violent.
