The University of Houston main campus will re-open for classes and business as usual Tuesday, Sept. 16. All classes, clinics and events for Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, are canceled. You are strongly urged to continue checking the Emergency Communications page in case the situation changes. The campus and adjacent roads are being cleared of debris and fallen trees. Power is generally available and water pressure issues are being addressed. In keeping with the City of Houston curfew, all evening classes will conclude by 7:30 p.m. Off-campus students who are returning to student residences may begin checking in at noon on Monday. Essential personnel should continue to perform their duties, and mission critical faculty and staff will be contacted regarding their return to campus Monday.
