University Drive and UH Entrance 1 Partial Closure
August 7-8, 2010

Due to an on-going tree re-location project there will be partial closures of University Drive and Entrance One this weekend. The closures include:

Saturday, August 7, 2010, 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The westbound lanes of University Drive will be closed from the Entrance to Lot 20A to Calhoun. Two way traffic will be set up on the eastbound lanes of University Drive and eastbound traffic will be diverted to the westbound lanes. Traffic control officers will be present to assist vehicular traffic.

Sunday, August 8, 2010, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The work on Sunday involves two phases on Entrance 1. Phase one will begin at 6:30 a.m. and will require the eastbound lanes of Entrance One to be closed from Entrance 4 to the turn around by the entrance to Lot 1C/D. Two way traffic will be set up on the westbound lanes of Entrance 1 and eastbound traffic will be diverted to the westbound lanes. Traffic control officers will be present to assist vehicular traffic. Phase two will begin at 12:00 p.m. and will require the westbound lanes of Entrance One to be closed from Entrance 4 to the median cut by the Information Booth. Two way traffic will be set up on the eastbound lanes of Entrance One and westbound traffic will be diverted to the eastbound lanes. Traffic control officers will be present to assist vehicular traffic.
